About this event

Do you know what happened when the Romans came to Northamptonshire?

The archaeological excavation at Blackgrounds Farm, undertaken by MOLA Headland ahead of the main construction of HS2 railway, has produced a wealth of archaeological material and provided a new understanding of the settlements which once stood there.

Covering the transition between the Iron Age and the arrival of the Roman Empire the site has helped shed light on a pivotal period of change for the country.

Join MOLA and the Fusion Community Engagement Team to discover what they are uncovering!
